Theme: Community issues or community attractions. What we would like to have in this special anthology are themes that local writers care about. The topics do not have to be negative in nature. When you write about an issue that is close to home, the words take on a new shape, they become alive with emotion, and the reader may be more ept in caring about the subject.

Common themes include: Poverty, animal extinction, water falls, education, economy, terrorism, environment.

Must have topics: Autism, Alzheimer's, Chronic Pain, AIDS, Poverty, 9/11 (from local residence of New York City, NY, national monuments: tourism attractions such as: forest, volcanoes, oceans. Other topics of interest: ADA, Access for people with disabilities, education, economy, environment...more.
